SWAN Partners with Navy Federal Credit Union for Women's Month 

Washington D.C.: Washington D.C.: Service Women's Action Network (SWAN) is excited to announce their partnership with Navy Federal Credit Union in honor of Women's History Month! SWAN and Navy Federal will be spotlighting the credit union’s employees, who are women veterans or military spouses, through #TheServiceWomensImpact campaign. SWAN's CEO, Deshauna Barber will interview five magnificent women and highlight their stories of service.

“We’re thrilled to partner with SWAN to celebrate Women’s History Month,” said Dr. Julia Metcalf, AVP, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at Navy Federal Credit Union. “As a veteran and SWAN board member, I’m honored to be a part of the advocacy and support SWAN provides to our military service women.”

SWAN's CEO, Deshauna Barber, will also be speaking at Navy Federal Credit Union's Women's History Month Lunch and Learn event to discuss the importance of empowering women service members and veterans through offering financial literacy programs, investment in women's business ventures, and the usage of community resources.
